Stockyards Championship Rodeo: A Texan Right of Passage
Whether you are new to the Dallas/Fort Worth area, or have been a Texan since birth, attending a Stockyards Championship Rodeo at the historic Fort Worth Cowtown Coliseum is a right of passage.
The Stockyards Rodeo is a URPA and IRPA sanctioned Rodeo featuring some of the best rodeo athletes in America every Friday and Saturday Night at 8PM. The rodeo maintains a strong commitment to visitors seeking the authentic Western Cowboy experience. The two-hour show features bull riding, tie down roping, team roping, barrel racing, bronc riding and break away roping. Plus, calf and mutton scrambles with prizes for the kids!
If you’re seeking a family friendly night out and 8PM is past your kiddo’s bedtime, the Pawnee Bill’s Wild West Show is held every Saturday afternoon at 2:30 and 4:30pm. This show features trick roping, trick shooting, trick riding, cowboy songs. Great family fun with livestock, spectacular performers, ropes, bullwhips, pistols and even a singing cowboy!
